End of the World or What?

The End Of The Mayan Calendar

The Mayans of Mesoamerica were great sky-watchers in that their knowledge of celestial cycles, planetary positions and sunspots is impressively accurate considering their lack of astronomical instruments. Consequently, when their Long Count calendar of 5125 years ends on December 21 2012 with the prediction that the world will end then too, a great number of people feel they have to sit up and take notice. Added to this is the fact that several other ancient cultures, like the Egyptians and the Cherokee, also predict this time as being a significant end/beginning or at least a major shift in our reality.

On top of all this is the astronomical fact that this time, or thereabouts, coincides with our Sun aligning with the Centre of our galaxy, the Milky Way, something which occurs every 25,920 years. Because of this cosmic double whammy, some say that a great event or shift is going to take place at this Winter Solstice of 2012.

Here are a few quotes from various sources that demonstrate this ‘hope’ or prediction, that run from the New Age fantastic, to the classical, to the seemingly scientific:

‘The human race will unify as a single circuit. Solar and galactic sound transmissions will inundate the planetary field. A current charging both poles will race across the skies, connecting the polar auroras in a single brilliant flash.’ (Jose Arguelles)

‘...evolutionary quantum leap. Human / ET interface and the arrival of a new species or kingdom on Earth.’ (Jon King)

‘…translation or dematerialisation to another sphere of the Universe’ (Teilhard de Chardin)

‘As the Schumann resonance increases to 13Hz, Gaia goes from Alpha to Beta frequency and wakes up. Increasing tryptamine and beta-carboline neuro-chemistry allows us a telepathic communion, as we become used to our light bodies in preparation for the magnetic pole reversal when there will be a mass out-of-body-experience.’ (Geoff Stray)

Planet Earth is a proving ground and so for everyone to be beamed up when the going gets too tough would, it seems to me, be denying the point of it all. So at the risk of putting it too simply, but here goes, I see three basic readings and outcomes that the Scanner of the Cosmic Corridor makes and dictates, but there are bound to be shades in between;

1. It finds your soul to have evolved to a relatively high level of evolution and so you move on to a higher level, but this level may just as well be still here on Earth. It is just that it will feel and even look very different.

2. It finds your soul has too much conflict and negativity within it. Consequently it cannot take the increased intensification that the Cosmic Corridor imposes, and so it seriously dysfunctions, meaning that illness or madness, or both, ensues. From here though it can inevitably only go up or down, to (1) or (3).

3. It finds your soul has so much conflict and negativity that nothing can be done to remedy your mental and physical state this time around, so that death is the only outcome, with whatever might follow upon that.

If none of this is so, and 2012 is just another illusion or a mental construct, then I still think we are in for a literally very trying time, with Earth conditions such as global warming and other climate and geophysical conditions being the obvious, yet also symbolic, signs of this. What you personally make of this ‘trying time’ is entirely up you. The win-win, or maybe only, solution, is to get your soul in shape and follow what the Planets lay down as the best course through this Cosmic Corridor.
